My Story
Why I Started Bellaskin
For almost ten years, I lived with chronic dermatitis. It affected my confidence, my comfort, and my daily life. Doctors prescribed anticorticosteroids — and while they managed the symptoms, I knew they weren't a long-term answer. The side effects of prolonged use concerned me, and I didn't want to be dependent on them for the rest of my life.
So I started searching for something better. I tried countless products — expensive serums, "miracle" creams, complex routines with ten steps. Nothing worked the way I needed it to.
Then I discovered pure glycerin. Something so simple, so overlooked, and so inexpensive — and it did what years of prescriptions and products couldn't. My skin cleared. My barrier healed. The dermatitis that had defined nearly a decade of my life was finally, genuinely gone.
That experience changed everything for me. It taught me that we as humans tend to overcomplicate things. We reach for the complex solution when the simple one was right in front of us the whole time. Tallow has been used to moisturize skin for centuries — it's arguably the first lotion that ever existed.
